Meet Our Staff

Mike Russel, Ed.D., Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Dean of Students
Associate Vice Chancellor Role: To collaborate with and oversee the Health and Wellness units in the Division of Student Affairs; Counseling and Mental Health Center, Alcohol and Drug Education, Health Center, Campus Recreation and the Dean of Students.
Dean of Students Role: To assist TCU students with issues that interfere with academic work, to help students respond to personal emergencies, to promote healthy lifestyles, to connect students to campus and community resources and to maintain community and university standards. Helping students make healthy choices is vital as these choices play a crucial role in what students accomplish in the classroom and in life.
