Immunity for Sexual Assault Reporting

In accordance with Texas law, students who in good faith, report to or assist the University in investigating a report about, or who testify or otherwise participate in a conduct proceeding regarding, an incident of sexual harassment, as defined in the University’s Prohibited Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, and Retaliation Policy, are immune from any disciplinary action for any violation of the Code of Student Conduct reasonably related to the incident for which suspension or expulsion are not possible punishments.
