3.2.1 Infliction of bodily or emotional harm
Knowing, reckless or intentional infliction or threat of infliction of bodily or emotional harm, including the threat of, or action taken in retaliation for reporting allegations of student misconduct. Examples of prohibited behavior under section 3.2.1 include, but are not limited to any form of assault or physical abuse, threats, harassment (unwelcome verbal or physical conduct that, if repeated, would unreasonably interfere with another’s work place or another’s ability to participate in or benefit from educational programs or activities), bullying, cyberbullying, harmful or bias conduct that does not rise to the level of behavior prohibited by the University’s Prohibited Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, and Retaliation Policy (Policy 1.008) in section 3.2.16, and/or other conduct which threatens or endangers the health or safety of any person or is so extreme and outrageous that it exceeds the bounds of decency, causing severe emotional distress.
